Our Story
It all started with Vicente’s vision.
In the late 70s, the Sandoval family’s patriarch, Vicente Sandoval, saw a long stretch of sand and an endless horizon and envisioned something as good as gold — a home where his family could come together to make meaningful memories. True to his vision, the cerulean sea and the golden sands of Northern Cebu brought his family closer together. Their family grew in abundance not only in numbers but also in love.
Guided by Vicente’s vision, the Sandoval family continued to develop Golden Sands Destination Resort through the years. Before this beach property became Golden Sands Destination Resort, it was a home to the Sandoval family first. That is why it’s important to them that Golden Sands Destination Resort is less of a getaway or an escape and more of a homecoming.
